WHAT IS BOTOX®?

Treatments
Meliora Medspa Botox Injections Lincoln, NE

PREDICTABLE, SUBTLE RESULTS.

Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A), Jeuveau, Xeomin, and Dysport are all neuromodulators and can commonly be referred to as Botox.  These Neuromodulators provide muscle relaxation for desired wrinkle-free results by stopping your nerves from telling your facial muscles to flex, temporarily smoothing moderate to severe wrinkles.

At your Meloria appointment, we will inject the neuromodulation that works best for your needs to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines. At Meloria Medspa in Lincon, NE, we are experienced in facial anatomy and will help determine the Botox injection options that will work best for you.

Lip Flip vs. Lip Filler

What is the difference between a lip flip and filler? A lip flip uses Tox near your upper lip area to help provide a subtle upward turn of the lip to allow for a fuller look. Wanting some va-va voom? This is where lip filler comes in. We use lip Dermal Filler to help add volume and plump the lips.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Treatments
  • Can men and women get Botox?
Both women & men can benefit from Botox injections. With collagen production decreasing on average in your late 20's, early treatments with Botox help you relax your facial muscles and prevent developing deep wrinkles at an early age. Get started today - book your next Botox treatment at our Lincoln, Nebraska Meliora Med Spa office.
  • What should I tell you before my treatment?
Before receiving treatment you should tell us about all of your medical conditions, including whether you have a disease that affects your muscles and nerves, have allergies to any botulinum toxin product, or have experienced any side effect from any other botulinum toxin in the past. In addition, tell us your medical history and all the medicines you take, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Especially if you have received any other botulinum toxin product in the last four months or in the past. Be sure you inform us of exactly which product(s) you received and when you received them.
  • What can I expect during my first tox treatment?
During treatment, which usually takes about 10-20 minutes, we will inject tox into the muscles we are treating that cause frown lines. No anesthesia is required.
